Madden 17 Promises Unreal Gridiron Action in its First Official Trailer
There are certain video game traditions that remain unchanged no matter the system you prefer. One of the most prominent, of course, is that EA Sports' Madden franchise lives on with the release at the end of the summer just as the NFL preseason is winding down.
Today brings the first good look at the latest installment, Madden 17, which will feature New England Patriots tight end, Rob Gronkowski, on the cover.
In addition to improved graphics, the game features a broadcast overhaul in which Jim Nantz and Phil Simms have been replaced by Brandin Gaudin and Charles Davis, and increased game play speed – called "Play the Moments" – which reflects a style of gaming similar to how the Red Zone channel has revolutionized watching the sport and allows Franchise players to take their team all the way from opening day to the Super Bowl in just a weekend.
Madden 17 is out August 23.
